Steve Morris Skips Out on Another Bill 5/23/08 - On April 16, 2008 a motion for a default judgment against Steve Morris was entered into the Hillsborough County Court System in Tampa, Florida. The motion has not been granted as of this writing, but most likely will be. Based on the court filings, it looks like Steve Morris did not appear to answer any of the charges against him, of course, he never does. Apparently, Mr. Steve Morris was able to obtain a credit card through Providian National Bank and most likely he ran up the bill and then never paid. Steve Morris has never had good credit. In fact, while we were still partners, he had asked me if I would open an account at T-Mobile in my name so he could get his wife a cell phone for Christmas. I did and 5 months later, he stabbed me in the back and ripped me off for well over $100,000 (read about that here). Of course, all of this is nothing new for Steve Morris. In fact, Steve Morris was found to have deliberately opened corporations with the intent to defraud his creditors (read the court ruling here).
Below are the involved parties
- Providian National Bank is the jilted creditor - probably a credit
card. Providian specializes in granting credit to sub prime
borrowers - or borrowers with poor credit.
