Scammed! a Book by Steven Edward Morris

Back when I first started working with Steve Morris at Amerigreet in June of 2003, he was attempting to write a book that I believe he was going to title Scammed! The book was about this sharp hustler type fellow who breezed through life because he could scam and hustle just about everyone.

Clearly, the main character - whose name was Eddie, if I remember correctly (Steve's middle name - he liked to call himself 'Fast Eddie' at one point in time), was based on Steve himself.

To help him write his book, Steve enlisted the help of his manager who was attending USF, Jason Trottman. Basically, Steve would sit back and dictate how the flow of the story was supposed to go, and then it was up to Jason to weave it all together. Once a chapter was completed, they would go back and forth to change and make adjustments, etc. until Steve was satisfied.

I'm not sure how far along they got in this, maybe 2 or 3 chapters. Anyway, what Steve wanted to do with the book in the end is somehow scam the reader. I'm not sure how he intended to do this, but that was his vision and goal.

I relate this story about Steve Morris and this book because I think that it is very telling. Steve Morris thinks he can scam and hustle his way through life. For some reason, in his mind, this is how you achieve success...not through smart, hard, and honest work, but through deceit and manipulation.

Instead of creating genuine values for others and profiting from that, Steve Morris instead uses trickery, deceit, and well...Semantics...to press people into giving over their credit card numbers. Then, once he's got their personal financial data, he uses it very improperly.

Steve Morris basically scams everyone. He scammed me, he scams his customers every day, he scams his creditors by using Florida corporations, he even tries to scam readers of a book. That's what this guy is all about...It's all about the scam.

I hope that this website can educate people about scammers like Steve Morris an hopefully no one else has to be a victim of Steven Edward Morris of Lutz, Florida.
