Pubxxxx.Org - An Extortion Site by Steve Morris
(site name deliberately garbled)

3/12/08 - At approximately 9:00 PM on March 12th, 2008 I had a knock at my front door. It was just about bedtime for the kids and it was dark outside. I asked who it was through the closed door and "Bill Smith" was the response...a rather generic name for such a late caller.

I asked him what he wanted through the closed door and he told me that if this website (www.SteveMorrisFraud.com) was not taken down by noon the following day (3/13/2008), 10,000 flyers (see below) were going to be distributed around the neighborhood promoting his new site, pubxxxx.org. He said he had the flyer and a copy of the website with him to give me.

I told him to leave it at the door...he did and he left with no incident.

Above is a scan of the flyer he left. The flyer and the website are designed to look like an official government website, however, the website has only one true purpose...to threaten and cajole the operator of this website to take it down. Up to this point, Steve Morris of Tampa has been making threats that he was up to something 'big' and that if I didn't take the website down...well...my family might not forgive me.

On this website, I have documented fraud, contempt, child support neglect, tax evasion, drug smuggling and other petty crimes committed by Steve Morris with proof! I have documented practically every claim made on this website.

So, in what appears to be a really poorly thought out effort by Steve Morris to get this website taken down, he has now resorted to extortion, libel, and defamation of character with malice. We can add that to the laundry list of misdeeds done by Steve Morris.

For the record, if you choose to go to the website, I think it's pretty clear that it's a snow job. Steve Morris makes a lot of claims about my wife, with absolutely nothing to back it up. She was arrested for DUI, however the charges were reduced to reckless driving...those are true...but the rest is total BS.

All of the claims made on the site about my wife, except for the two mentioned above, are complete lies and fabrications designed to pressure me into taking down this site. I guess this is the only way Steve Morris can think of to get this site taken down. Everything on here is backed up with proof that is available in the public domain.

There isn't a judge in the world that could get this site removed because everything on here is true! So even if Steve Morris could afford a lawyer (which I know he can't), they could never get a ruling against the website operator.

So, knowing this, he creates these incredible lies and threatens to tell his lies to the whole neighborhood...he thinks this will somehow make me want to take down this site. What a fool...what a complete and total moron. I mean, this guy has opened himself up to charges of libel and defamation of character with malice. There may be more charges we can level against him as well. And we will be suing.

My poor wife, who is the innocent target of all this told me that she feels sorry for him. "He must be so desperate", she says, "that he somehow thinks that what he is doing is going to help him. This move really smacks of desperation."

I agree, but I don't feel sorry for him.

And for the record (and for Mr. Steve Morris), this site will NEVER be taken down. Period.

Update 3/13/2008 - It looks like Steve Morris removed the information about my wife from his site - It came down pretty quickly, I guess he realized he made a mistake. Nevertheless, we're still going to sue him.

Update 6/28/08 - This website operator just found out that Steve Morris's partner in crime, Luis Acevedo is a Sexual Offender. Wow...I had no idea. It's ironic really that Mr. Steve Morris partners up with criminals like Luis Acevedo who have committed sexual crimes yet Steve Morris falsely accuses innocent people of sexual misdeeds and other falsities. Below are screenshots of the website that Steve Morris put together that has nothing but outright lies that are designed to do nothing but hurt, intimidate, and extort innocent people while Steve Morris works to defraud and scam hardworking people with scum bags like Luis Acevedo and Eric Cadwallader. 

Descriptions of these losers are almost beyond words. I don't think there are enough negative adjectives to accurately describe the loathing and disgust I and others feel for these rejects.

Below are screen captures of the extortion site that Steve Morris created. Names and pictures have been removed. On the home page, Steve Morris put my wife above two convicted sexual predators! This is referred to as 'False Light'...such as portraying someone in a false light. We will be suing him for this as well. Click on the image for a larger view.
