History of the Data-Tel Predictive Dialer
& How Mr C. One of Steve's most valuable assets is his Data-Tel predictive dialer and the 24 computer workstations it uses. To illustrate how Steve Morris hides assets and moves them from one company to the next without following proper procedures, I've detailed how he has improperly hidden his assets to avoid paying his creditors. In approx. June of 2003, Under either Oasis Travel Group or Modern Marketing Solutions, Steve Morris and I purchased a predictive dialer from Data-tel info Solutions. This kind of telemarketing equipment is designed to keep 24 telemarketers on the phone as much as possible to maximize revenue by 'predicting' when a rep is finished with a call so that they can be immediately connected to another call...with no delay. That's why it's called a predictive dialer. Steve Morris was quoted a price of $25,858 from Data-Tel representative Todd Miller (Click here for a copy of the contract). Steve Morris was able to work out a financing deal with Data-Tel where he paid the first $10,000 and the rest was paid off in monthly increments. I know this because I gave Steve Morris the $10,000 for the dialer. Click Here for supporting Documents (link repaired 4-17-07). This information can also be verified by Data-Tel. This was part of our verbal partnership agreement, I paid for the upfront costs of the dialer in exchange for the interest in the business. I was foolish enough to believe that Steve Morris was an honorable businessman. The dialer was installed at 13137 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618 and we started running it at the end of July in 2003. Right around this time, Steve Morris started having legal troubles with TNCI as well as some other issues, so everything that was Oasis Travel, Inc. became Modern Marketing Solutions, Inc. I'm not sure which of these companies the dialer was licensed to. At any rate, on Memorial Day weekend, Steve Morris shut me out completely (Read about that here) and he went out of business about 6 months later in November of 2004. At this time, Steve owed quite a bit of money to a lot of companies, so it looks like he 'sold' or licensed the dialer to a company created by his then telemarketing room manager Mr C in an effort to keep any of the assets from his creditors but still keep it available for use. Of course, he never really sold it, Mr C and Luis Acevedo were helping Steve Morris hide his assets from the creditors. The company, Online Services Group, Inc. had Mr C as the President and Luis Acevedo as the Vice-President. Luis Acevedo was the graphic designer (www.maxten.com) for Amerigreet.com and worked for Steve Morris as well. So, Steve Morris transfers the ownership of his dialer to his telemarketing room manager and his graphic designer and their company, Online Services Group, Inc. Below is a link to a copy of the contract where Steve Morris is seeking to have the dialer licensed from Online Services Group, Inc. back to Steve Morris and Semantics, Inc., which is Steve Morris's company. the contract is dated February 7, 2007. Clearly, the dialer (and other assets as well) have been moved from one company to the next in an attempt to keep these from his creditors. This is what he did. From either Oasis Travel or Modern Marketing Solutions, Steve Morris, with the help of Mr C and Luis Acevedo moved his assets to a company that did not have him (Steve Morris) listed as being part of the corporation, even though the corporation owners were his own employees! This way, if any creditors came after Steve Morris, he could show that the ownership of the equipment belonged to someone else and not him and hence, the creditor could not take it. Now, Steve Morris is ready again, he's moving ownership of the dialer from Online Services Group, Inc. back to a company that IS owned by him, Semantics, Inc. And this is exactly the same dialer that he had before, the current room manager used to work for Steve Morris and is working for him again, and he has informed me that it is the same equipment. Click here for the contract that re-licenses the dialer from Online Services Group to Semantics, Inc. Here is an HTML version of the Data-Tel contract. And here is the MS Word Version. The Word version came from the company. The HTML version is provided if you don't want to open the word version or can't. So, here it is laid out in black and white again (with hard evidence) showing how Steve Morris is using Florida corporations to defraud his creditors. And this time, he's enlisted the help of his employees, Mr C and Luis Acevedo, both of Lutz, Florida to help him
